Makadi Bay:

The long "Makadi Bay" provides a natural and ideal setting for a holiday resort, with its beautiful beach and interesting local reef. The small Makadi train (which operates for an hour or two at a time) offers a great way of travelling around the resort.

Makadi Centre:
The resort’s  compact Makadi Centre has an oriental café, coffee shop, Café Blue, internet café, pub as well as  various restaurants with oriental and Italian cuisine and fish specialities; there are also diverse shops, a pharmacy, bank, hairdresser and transfer service.

Your hotel
The highlight of the complex is the large, heatable freshwater pool with integrated children’s pool. Lobby, snack bar, amphitheatre, boutiques and various shops, oriental coffee house, discotheque.

Rooms
196 family rooms (35 sqm; 3 of which are suitable for disabled) with an extra bedroom (separated from main room by a curtain) have shower/toilet, hairdryer, air−conditioning, minibar, telephone, satellite TV, balcony or terrace. Safe at the reception. Rooms with connecting door available.

Meals and drinks
All−inclusive: full board (buffet) , many times a week thematic buffets, option, whole−food and light−food meals; afternoons coffee, cake and ice cream; soft drinks, non−alcoholic and local alcoholic drinks (10.30am − midnight). Softdrinks are availabe on the beach.

Family Restaurant
Main restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, Breakfast from 07.00am−10.30am, Late breakfast till 12.00am, lunch from 12.00am−3.00pm, dinner from 6.30pm−10.00pm (winter time) / till 10.30pm (summer time).
Family Pool Bar
Open from 11.00am−12.00pm, snacks from 12.00am−5.00pm.
Lobby Bar
The Lobby Bar is the perfect place for aromatic Arabic coffee and traditional tea. From 11.00aam−12.00pm.
Beach Bar
Located on the resort's beach front and offering a selection of cold drinks and snacks. From 10.30am till sunset.

"Dine−around": You can, if you like, have your dinner à la carte in certain restaurants around the Makadi resort. Make your reservation at the reception, where you will be given a credit voucher for the meal you do not partake of; this voucher can be used in part payment for dinner in an à la carte restaurant. All−inclusive guests receive two free drinks (1 soft drink, 1 local non−alcoholic drink).

Sports and Wellness
All−inclusive: tennis, squash, table tennis, billiards, boccia, darts, archery. Various fitness activities such as basic aerobics, morning gymnastics and aerobics, step aerobics, aqua− aerobics, walking, Nordic walking, beach volleyball, water polo, snorkelling.
Charge is made for: tennis with floodlight, horse riding on the beach, watersports station (kayak, pedal boat, snorkel gear), windsurf board, catamaran and diving school (subcontractor), golf (about 30 km away, Le Cascade − Soma Bay).
Wellness: massage, sauna, jacuzzi, steam bath, fitness room (for a charge).

Makadi Spa: The Spa treatment are inspired by Indian wellness traditions and new treatments developed from ancient Egyptian beauty rituals. Located in the hotel Makadi Star & Spa it is open to all guests within the resort. 23 treatment rooms, including Adam & Eve suites with private, secluded Jacuzzi gardens as well as rooms for Vichy, Scrubs & Wraps, massages, facials, pedicure, manicure, herbal bath, sauna, hamam, jacuzzi and more. Vegetarian restaurant and juice bar, serving delicious meals as well as fresh fruit and vegetable juices.
The Makadi Spa is open daily from 9.00 till 19.00h; reservation can be made via your hotel reception at any of Makadi Hotels.


Entertainment
Wide−ranging sports and entertainment programmes: beach and pool games, creative activities (e.g. silk painting), relaxation programmes. Evening entertainment and shows. Discotheque is charged for. 

Children
TUI Baadingoo children’s club for 3 to 6−year−olds: adventure programmes 6x week from 10am to 12am and 3pm to 5pm, children’s show, children’s disco from 7.30pm to 9.45pm (subject to change according to winter or summer time).

Prams and baby phone hire, babysitting on request (charged for).
